Project Scope
TP knotweed Solutions were appointed to remediate a Japanese knotweed infestation on a small parcel of land adjacent to the rear car park of Wickes on Plough Lane, Wimbledon. The client’s objective was to extend the existing car park over the infested area.
Remediation Strategy
After liaising with the client and careful consideration of site constraints and budgets, it was decided that a reduced level excavation and geo-textile root barrier installation was the most appropriate remediation strategy. Following the main works a 3 year monitoring programme is now being carried out and a 5 Year Guarantee will be issued upon completion.
